Leverkusen Cup Challenge
The 44th International Leverkusen Cup 2019 in the Olympic gymnastics disciplines set on Sunday, October 27, in the Leverkusen Ostermann Arena. Wynlands Gymnast, Elisbe Swanepoel was selected as part of the South African Team of competitors.
The Leverkusen Cup is the oldest, international tournament in female artistic gymnastics in Germany for 43 years in an uninterrupted series. So far 97 clubs from 42 nations of all five continents have been guests at the Leverkusen Cup’s history.
– The Leverkusen Cup is a team competition with an integrated individual rating.
– Three artistic gymnasts form a team. The two best ratings per device count for the team rating.
– The all-around winners of the team classification receive the “Leverkusen Cup Challenge Cup”.
– Each gymnast competes in a free-style four-man fight after the best individual gymnast of the competition becomes the individual winner of the Leverkusen Cup.
